Autumn the Climber [Video]

Autumn and her tongue
Autumn sticks out her tongue

Our little girl ascended her first mountain, well a 3-foot slide, but it must have seemed like a mountain to her. She hit a few rough spots during the summit attempt, but with an excellent belay by her mother, she pulled through.

The past few weeks she has really learned how to crawl, stand up, ad move around while grabbing a chair or desk. She would tinker with going up the slide but never have much luck beyond getting one leg up and then sliding off.

We decided to help her out by removing her socks and letting her take on the slide in her onesie. This seemed to be the extra push she needed to scale it and finally reach the summit!

Good job Autumn.
